About This Event

“Like the river, life is running, swift, volatile, never still; and when you meet life with the heavy burden of memory, naturally you are never in contact with life... Knowledge and experience gradually become destructive factors in life.”-J. Krishnamurti, 'Life Ahead'

Introduction:
When we are living only at the level of thinking, memory and the past, life becomes heavy, a kind of prison and a field of suffering for oneself and people around us. Stepping out of this conditioned field of the past is essential to discover a new mind and heart, a true freedom and the essence of life. Meeting life fully implies understanding and meeting oneself and my relationships completely without any masks or layers. Learning about oneself through compassionate non-judgmental self-inquiry and holistic deep awareness is the ground for meeting oneself and therefore life with a totally new quality of mind and heart.
In this retreat we are going to explore experientially questions which are directly related to our everyday life and challenges. The program will include short introductory talks, meditative dialogues, exercises in small groups/couples and experiments with listening, observation and meditation.
