When there is no question; when the answer is questioned; when the sacred is ever present; when things are as they are; when emptiness is as it is; when things and emptiness do not conflict: what then?

Well, then you are lucky that Codger isn't visiting this forum. Such conjecture smacks of rampant imagination......

"What then?" As long as there is life mustn't there be questions? Awareness itself can be seen as a question in the sense that it is asking about the totality of the internal and external inputs from the entire environment.

Can there ever be a final or definitive answer to questions in an ever changing life? Is the sacred a permanent and continuous presence? Or, is it's ever renewed presence integral to the ever renewing ending of 'psychological time' each moment?

I'm not sure what you are trying to convey with these words. When present in a given life, aren't things and emptiness always what they are in that moment?

"What then?" Isn't that 'what' the thing we are either attending to or not attending to in that same moment?

Hello Richard,

I was under the wrong impression that this forum was a no-answer forum, so what I posted was not intended as a 'proposition' or a subject either for agreement or disagreement. It is not surprising that it was totally misunderstood.

Hello Paul, The moderator rarely posts or tries to guide discussion and, whether intended or not, it has followed a question the question sort of format with no definitive answer sought. Sorry if I have caused confusion. Unless you say otherwise, I will not reply to your posts here in the future so please feel free to continue without interruption.

Hello Richard,

Please don't think that you have caused confusion - and if I make any other posts I will try to make them more 'replier friendly'.

Paul
