"Fear can't be overtaken, but taken with a grain of salt, it can be understood"

You make a statement. I say you don't know what you're talking about. You say I'm not smart enough to know what you're talking about. I say you're not smart enough to refrain from making bullshit statements. You say your bullshit is grade A, top notch, no-questions-asked-bullshit and I say, prove it, but you say it's not worth the trouble. I say your bullshit is chicken-shit.

Yes, it is, but you're probably unfamiliar with the term "chicken-shit" which is slang for fearful.

If this is what is true, we have redueced this religious forum to that of an intelectual foum.I really wonder if I have ever entered this forum for my self belief? Keeping the remarks apart, what your posting suggests is that, it is our over indulgent self which often gets us into a fearfull state of mind.Is the self the creater of fear?Does it really make you run away from what is inconvenient to itself?

I am that Iam.

True, it is so.The posters serious indulgence with this sort of religious endeavour is just not more than last 24 years whether it is of jk's or some body elses, but fear is known to me from the childhood.who could be the cause of it?

There's always cause for fear. The problem is that it isn't always justified by the facts, and we're more interested in ideas and beliefs than facts.

Doesn't it sounds like some body's teachings. That apart,it is true we indulge in excessive thinking, perhaps get out of fear.

what is the context? I felt today it has got a good significance when there was fear to act and i took it (considered it). fear gone.

Yes..yes...and ...yes..and it seems as if for the most part[with rare exceptions] this forum is exactly that..the philosophers amusement..a playground of self expression..a circus game of hide and seek..it brings to mind that old saying "strain the gnat..but swallow the camel"? This is also why it becomes a mud slinging contest.a struggle to be king or queen of "Me " mountain! Just look my friend at the obvious results of the slightest challenge to belief... Self is fear..and in order to escape it will do ANYTHING!
