Freedom from the desire of an answer is essential for the understanding of the problem.

This is pointed to by Einstein in saying "a problem cannot be solved on the level on which it is being created." Why? Because on the level it is being created, the mental processes are not open to the energy of insight.

This is associated with the K quote of the day: " it is the desire for
success that prevents humility; and without humility, how can there be understanding?" It all pertains to the choiceless quality of the mind
that is free to discover, to learn.
