Do you think it advisable to introduce Krishnamurti to people you know? Have you ever done it and if yes, what are your experiences?

Yes...especially in country like ours (India) where religious beliefs invariably lead to bigotry, social discrimination and riots.
Have tried to introduce Krishnamurti to people. But, normally, people find his teachings intellectually inaccessible...

Has coming into contact with Krishnamurti and his teachings had any perceptible effect on your life and/or relationships?

I was a practicing Hindu... Krishnamurti's teachings have led me to understand that most of the Hindu beliefs (beliefs of all other religions too, for that matter) are merely dogmas and superstitions...I no longer go to temples... I find more peace...has become more accommodating towards other people.

Do you ever feel that you have been conditioned by Krishnamurti's teachings?

Well...honestly speaking...I won't claim that I have clearly understood what J K has taught... But whenever I read his books/lectures/discussions, his words and his thoughts disturb my mind, like no other books/thoughts/teachings have ever done, and make me introspect about my life, my thoughts and my beliefs. I honestly believe J K's teachings have made me more 'vulnerable' to life, as J K would want me to. But, I don't know whether this 'vulnerability to life' that I feel now, is for real or just a 'conditioning of my mind' by his teachings.

That is what I want to do. That is what I try to do. But have I succeeded? Only time can tell....

How do you personally go about exploring the Krishnamurti's teachings (through personal study, dialogues, dvds)?

Through reading his work, thinking seriously about it, trying to understand it and finally by trying to put his teachings into practice...

Can dialogue - in the sense of sincere inquiry - be organized or can it only come about spontaneously, unprompted?

I think introspection is a more important tool for sincere self inquiry...more important than dialogue... But dialogues are important pointers in the path of self inquiry....

The whole body of his teaching is very challenging to understand... He never tried to play to gallery by deliberately making his teachings simple...

He has taught people to be open 24 x 7 towards life. Taught people to live the moment.

They shall exist so long as humans exist... that I am sure about... His teachings will continue to challenge people to seek to understand themselves...
