Interview Answers

Has coming into contact with Krishnamurti and his teachings had any perceptible effect on your life and/or relationships?

Yes! Profoundly. It is like clear water to me. Cleansing and nurturing.

Does the phrase "living the teachings" have any meaning to you?

To live the teaching you must go beyond the teaching.
And that is the teaching.

It is all important always.

How important do you consider group dialogue to be in understanding the more subtle points of Krishnamurti's message?

Essential. We need to meet in honest dialog to see ourselves and to go beyond - into the unknown.

Do you think it is possible to make Krishnamurti more "practicable" than what he himself seems to have allowed for?

I am working hard to bridge spirituality and systemic therapy, and JK´s work is very practicable and useful in this bridge-building.

How do you personally go about exploring the Krishnamurti's teachings (through personal study, dialogues, dvds)?

I read books. Over and over. Always finding new understanding. I partake in forum dialog. Sometimes I watch a film or listen to a tape. I explore new discoveries in dialogues with clients and friends and I stay in a state of aesthetic curiosity or wonder.

Do you think Krishnamurti was exceptional, or is the transformation he spoke of universally accessible?

I think the transformation he spoke about is universally accessible for those who are honestly ready to take the leap into the unknown; for those who are ready to die.

Can dialogue - in the sense of sincere inquiry - be organized or can it only come about spontaneously, unprompted?

We can arrange a place and a time to meet. If we are brave enough to be honest the sincere inquiry will take place.

How do you strike a balance between healthy doubt and ready acceptance in investigating Krishnamurti's proposals?

By staying in wonder and letting the answer unfold and blossom in that space.

If you had to sum up what Krishnamurti is all about in just a few words of your own, what would they be?

To me it is all about beeing present in relation.
