When I first read some of K's "Commentaries" I experienced a sense of recognition. So, I've kept many of the quotes around since those times...and some of the dog-eared copies of the paperback books I've come across and managed to hold onto.

Interview Answers

Do you think Krishnamurti was exceptional, or is the transformation he spoke of universally accessible?

both.

Do you think it advisable to introduce Krishnamurti to people you know? Have you ever done it and if yes, what are your experiences?

I would allow people to make their own, authentic, discovery. That is not to say that I would hesitate to mention K in conversation, but I don't want to proselytize. There have been a few people who recognize K's name when I've mentioned it, but there have also been a number of blank stares.

How important do you consider group dialogue to be in understanding the more subtle points of Krishnamurti's message?

I am mistrustful of groups attempting to "dialogue" in this way. There may be some results that are beneficial, but I am more trusting of an individual's making his/her own way. That said, I also would give credit to a wise group being able to contribute some insight to an individual.

Do you think it is possible to make Krishnamurti more "practicable" than what he himself seems to have allowed for?

not really.

If you had to sum up what Krishnamurti is all about in just a few words of your own, what would they be?

I can't do that. I'm still exploring.
