Bare Minimum?

She went on speaking day after day and the opposite number went on responding relentlessly. He kept on going from 9 to 5 till he was kicked out from the workplace as he failed to recognize that he has gone far beyond his youth. So is the case with every individual activity multiplied by the ever surging world human population.

Why, we the human species do not seek the bare minimum and live calm and quiet?
Why don?t we silently do the best productive work without criticizing someone else and the circumstances and the like? Why don?t we have a heart as wide as the universe and as deep as the Pacific sea?

Why do we keep on talking, writing, arguing and doing things and getting involved in unnecessary brawls and all the unnecessary stuff? Why do we seek endless funny pleasures and get in return tremendous pain in the needless and endless emotional upsurge and exhibit them like jumping with happiness or getting dejected with a weighed down feeling of remorse or spitting fire with anger. Why don?t we just be simple like a new born babe?

Why can?t I live simply just fulfilling my bare minimum needs and without all the drama. Why can?t I be like the bird that lives the most simple life and does more good than I? Why don?t I keep quiet and never give undue importance to my sufferings or the pains? Why don?t I do my best that I can do to the fellow beings and everything that I come across with a smile and a heart overwhelmingly filled with nothing but pure love
