Ambition seems to be one of the features of the human psyche. As the self evolves from childhood, encouraged by education and culture, we are taught to pursue, compete and evaluate. This strenuous movement of ambition breeds conflict in oneself and so in society. During this retreat, participants are prompted to inquire into living without ambition to create a different quality of life.
