Before you talk make very sure you have done the walk.........those who talk.......for the most part have not done the walk..........those who have truly done the walk..........very rarely need to talk.....

Interests and Recommendations

Books

There is only one book really worth reading and that is the book of yourself....when you have truly read that book from cover to cover you will never again pick up another spiritual or religious book in your life......even the K books will loose their deep significance for you have moved from the outer dependence of authority to the inner realm of your own deep understanding..when a unconditioned mind rediscovers its true source all sources outside that mind become redundant.

If you had to sum up what Krishnamurti is all about in just a few words of your own, what would they be?

He stood alone just like that highly sensitive deer against the madness and insanity of the human condition.........he never ran away.........he faced into every problem in human existence and shone a light into the very nature of how that problem came into being and how we could through our own intelligence awaken from that deep conditioning and find a way of living where there is deep freedom and love........this he did for over sixty years...........and why..........because that is what he loved to do.............never did that love falter ..........this was his strength ..........so it becomes incumbent apon us to do the same............not for a reward or to copy him............but to love as he loved.........that is the only love worth living for.............and that is the only love worth "dying for"...............

Do you think it is possible to make Krishnamurti more "practicable" than what he himself seems to have allowed for?

If you and I truly live "the teachings" that will have more practical value than anything else on this earth..............what is more important than each one of us walking the talk than mearly talking the talk..........please let us leave that to the intellectuals of this world.........after all...........they are extremely good at it ! You can improve on dissemination of "the teachings" until you are blue in the face but unless those of us who disseminate these teachings live them fully of what use is it...........it is of no real value whatsoever......a man who is still himself confused will only lead another into confusion.........he may on the surface look very orderly and speak with great eloquence but deep down he is still fragmented.........that is why we should never depend on anybody.......that is why all authority outwardly and inwardly must be naturally abandoned and that of course includes "K himself" and "his teaching" .....but you see......and I say it as gently as one can........to let even the idea "of K " go is for most just to much to ask......the mind then has literally "no-thing" to cling onto........that is usually when "fear" comes in and says.......Oh no! this is to scary......."You" are asking "me" to die......"I don't think I am quite ready for that just yet, please give me just a little more "time"......"
"let me play a little longer with all these nice romantic ideas......"
"that way I can continue on "my spiritual path"......"
SORRY...................we are all going to die one day.........
when death approaches will you try and bargain with it .........will you say "I am not quite ready yet" ..........its final ...........over...........finished........ ........just like the flower that died the other week........did it ask for more time..........? ........it came and went ........living and dying in every moment.......that is the way the flower called "K" lived.........never carrying anything.....no wonder the perfume from that flower was so strong.........

How important do you consider group dialogue to be in understanding the more subtle points of Krishnamurti's message?

Group dialogue has its limitations like everything else.......Why? Because to go into the much deeper and subtle points of the human condition require great sensitivity and attention.........this implies that the mind is very sharp .........that it can move and see very quickly......which means it is not tethered to any concept ..any past experience........any belief or attachment.......which means it must have a certain quality of sensitivity and openess ........ only then can such a mind come together with others and move together into these finer points........so that implies that each individual has done a certain amount of investigation on their own.......so when we come together "In Dialogue" there is the possibility that we can truly meet each other and share something beyond the words........otherwise we come together and there is just fragmentation..........one opinion against another..........one belief fighting another........in other words there is no space for the beauty of the unknown to reveal itself.........so it becomes incumbent apon us to look into these questions deeply for ourselves when we are alone and not wait for "group dialogues".............

Do you ever feel that you have been conditioned by Krishnamurti's teachings?

Unless each one of us has truly been touched by the perfume of love & truth.............are we not all still conditioned by "K's teachings"..........."Jesus's teachings"........"Ramana's teachings"............"Eckhart Tolle's teachings".........and so on...........and so on..........to finally let go of all these "teachings"...........is death...........is it not coming to an end that is our deepest fear ? How can the heart let go as long as the mind clings onto "teachings" and "teachers"............When the heart and mind has truly surrendered into loves hands...........all authority ........all teachings and teachers.......become redundant.........why go through a teacher or teaching when you can go direct to the source........???
Surely the source of truth and love lies within us all...........Why then do we insist that it lies outside of us ..........in some book.......some teacher.........some teaching.............???

Can dialogue - in the sense of sincere inquiry - be organized or can it only come about spontaneously, unprompted?

If those who organize a dialogue are themselves still "deeply conditioned" then you will have a "conditioned dialogue"..........for this reason alone .......dialogues usually do not work.........the conditioning influence of the mind is simply to strong......having said that if 2 or 3 people come together in a spontaneous and unprompted way there is the possibility of real communication only if these individuals have a deep quality of listening and caring for each other and a deep interest to find out the truth.......which implies no authority of any kind ........nobody leading .........each mind fully engaged to find out........only then can there be the possibility of sharing something beyond words........only then can there be something called real communion.............but you see that is a very tall order......it means having no attachment to anybody or anything..........these kind of "meetings" are quite rare.......rare in the sense of meeting another mind who has really gone into these questions very deeply and so freed themselves so much that the perfume that was K is now flowering in them also.........

Are there any aspects of Krishnamurti's teaching that you find implausible or difficult to accept?

.............as long as the mind convinces itself through thought that it alone can put the house in order..........the house will remain dirty..........only when we are open ...........vulnerable and sensitive can this other quality begin to flower........as long as King Thought is in the driving seat.....the Queen of Love will remain locked up in the boot of the car...........if you give no power to the King...........surely the Queen will once again break free and bring peace, love and joy back into the inner kingdom..............

What future do you foresee for Krishnamurti's works? Do you think they will grow in importance or will they just gradually die away?

That is entirely dependent on each one of us. If we the present generation do not change in any deep or significant way of what use is it to preserve "these teachings" for future generations. You may as well preserve toilet paper at least it has a use.................

Do you think Krishnamurti was exceptional, or is the transformation he spoke of universally accessible?

Krishnamurti was not exceptional............ he was a human being just like you and I. This 'teaching' of which you speak was not "His"......it belongs to no-one!! It is accessible at all times to all people of all race...creed and religion.....the tragedy is we choose not to look into "it" for many many reasons which are based on our conditioning........but here and there a few serious people .....who deeply care .......begin to look into "it" for themselves....which implies looking into themselves.....the teaching is in "Yourself".....there is no other teaching but what is directly inside "Yourself".......so it becomes incumbent apon us to look directly and honestly inside ourselves to see the facts as they are...............If I am dependent on pleasure.......then I have to face that fact...........not run away into the non-fact which is "trying to be spiritual"..........the trying .......is an escape .........the fact is "I am attached to pleasure"........so the question arises "Who is this "I" that is attached to pleasure"??........Is this "I" not "THOUGHT" ...................so thought has attached a deep significance to a particular experience and then wants that experience repeated again and again..........this desire to repeat ............repeat .........repeat............IS CREATING MORE DIVISION............MORE ISOLATION...........MORE LONELINESS...................AND THOUGHT HAS ALSO CREATED THE "I" THOUGHT...............SO IT DOES THIS IN ORDER TO GIVE CONTINUITY TO ITSELF. And because of this false identification with this "I Thought" we do not really see the underlying cause of our deep isolation..........we do not want to see the deep danger of what thought is really doing.............this movement of thought is creating the very isolation .........and this isolation........is creating a deep division in oneself........... ....... The movement of thought as the "me" is creating divisions all over the world........and as K pointed out "where there is division there must be conflict" ........it is a universal law.............so do we fully SEE this .........is the "seeing" only intellectual or is it very very deep............if it is only intellectual obviously the movement of thought as the "me" will continue...........obviously.......but if it is seen so as you feel it in your guts........your heart ........your blood.....then it is over.....

Do you think it advisable to introduce Krishnamurti to people you know? Have you ever done it and if yes, what are your experiences?

Look unless the perfume is there in oneself first............to introduce "K's Teachings" to others is totally hopeless ............all you are doing is starting a "new religion"......and "you" have become one of the "priests"........please see this! Before you can "save others" first save yourself!

How do you strike a balance between healthy doubt and ready acceptance in investigating Krishnamurti's proposals?

One of the greatest authorities to overcome is the authority of K himself! Once you are no longer led by his words but find your own way..........you will then discover this ability to look at something.........without drawing any conclusions.........it is the drawing of conclusions that tie us up in knots......if your doubt opens up the mind to engage further into its own depths then that doubt has its place..........and will bring about order.......if on the other hand you over doubt........you will get lost in a web of words and the space inside you will close down.......... the only adequate pointer I can give is.....doubt by all means..........but don't let it strangle the flower in you nor its perfume.............

How do you personally go about exploring the Krishnamurti's teachings (through personal study, dialogues, dvds)?

By watching "myself".....by watching how thought arises....by tracing each thought back to its source......in that way each thought is extinguished at its source ..........only when thought is no longer leaving its heavy footprint everywhere can "that" which has no name, begin to reveal its subtle qualities.......after all meditation is the ground into which thought dies.........the death of thought is the birth of love.......when love is once again in charge of the vehicle ..........the vehicle runs extremely smoothly without any wastage of energy.....
only then can you be of real use to the world for you are no longer OF IT..........the "you" you once identified with is now "THAT"......

Does the phrase "living the teachings" have any meaning to you?

Make no mistake to "live the teaching"requires a very very deep inward surrender. In order that the mind returns to its original source it must let go every attachment, desire and pleasure.....as long as these qualities still fool the mind into false identification then the energy used to sustain such illusions cannot return to its source. Only when illusion is fully seen in all its qualities from a impersonal perspective only then is the mind and heart free to dive inwardly into the vast space and silence which is beyond thought and its illusions..such a mind becomes a vehicle for the direct transmission of the sacred.......its living presence is enough for this transmission to take place......it may use words or it may not.....silence usually speaks much more profoundly than mere words.....

Has coming into contact with Krishnamurti and his teachings had any perceptible effect on your life and/or relationships?

Perhaps one day when we "meet" I will let you be the "judge" of that!! All I ask is before you judge me please first see me as I truly am.....please first hear me as I truly am.......and if by meeting in this way no judgment arises then perhaps the division between "you" & 'I" can cease all together.....what then remains cannot be adequately put into words.....it is just to immense........
