Member Statement

I am composer and I have known the Jiddu Krishnamurti's philosophy since my adolescence and I have loved it too much. From 2002 I have been dedicated exclusively in the setting to music of Krishnamurti's poems. It's the first time that these poems have been set to music. At the end of 2009 the first ten songs have been published on a CD titled "Come Away" and soon are going to follow nine CDs more

This work of set to music poems includes 10 albums. I think it would Help greatly for spreading of what J. Krishnamurti has said, beyond the pleasure from the art that it can offer. This is the work of my life, on which I have been dedicated completely since 2002.
Beyond my personal work, I have shouldered all the expenses of the production. There are nine albums more to be produced and their cost is comparable to the first, which, unfortunately, I cannot afford to. I am not, personally, unable to recommend anyone to buy the CD, so I could cover the expenses of next production, in this way. But I hope people who understand the whole affair, if they wish, may highlight this work, suggest it to their friends or buy the album for giving as a gift. By this way they could offer appreciable help to me for raising funds and for producing next album.
It would be simple for me to use a sponsorship, but this attitude doesn't comfort to the Jiddu Krishnamurti's philosophy, which arouses all the best in me. Furthermore, profit is not my aim.
In August, especially for my friends, the album will be available through the internet at about half price.
Thanks in advance for any help.
George
